So finally cupid struck india once again...;).Did it really....??well hard to find....and even hard to tell.Your perspective would hinge a lot on which SIDE you are. These days you ought to take a side before saying anything....and the irony is...if you are on the side of truth....then no one would hear you...Mr shahrukh khan for sure would be cherishing this valentine day....atleast the run up to this valentine day would be have been some roller coster ride for him too.

I understand he is the king of bollywood...but when LOVE is in the air...a king has to ask permission from THE SENA...;).Signs of a truly wierd democracy.Well then....not transgressing from the topic...i think this valentine has been nothing short of an odessey atleast for the cricket lovers in india....or else when do you see a team like south africa collapsing within 40 odd runs...??And this becomes all the more memorable if you are a frustrated single guy/girl....who is in love with cricket....:D.The big deal surrounds the status of valentine day itself.Valentine itself would have never thought that this day would become the linchpin of a campagin which propogates hatred.So...i bring up my question...numerous controversies surround india and its people every day...how did they fare this valentines day?How about setting up this rather imaginary piece of world where say a bal thackery welcoming a bhojpuri actor and the aligarh muslim university singing vande mataram and telecasting it all over the world.I think it would spread an even powerful message of faternity, tolerance and love....than the one symbolized in "MY NAME IS KHAN".isnt this how valentine day was meant to be...??by the way i think "MY NAME IS KHAN" could have been more popular if shahrukh would have spelled it like.."MY NAME IS KKKHAN".isnt it?...:P.Valentine day has different interpretations in the world and i thought i was the one who blamed some indian outfits for its parochial outlook.Recently only we heard a muslim cleric asking everyone to not celebrate valentines day in indonesia...poor couples in indonesia...i feel for them.Perhaps the burqua shops would be very supportive of the move as it might just improve their sales.Who says love is blind....:P...??it can see through the burqua...:D.
The australians might be celebrating their valentines by beating more indians there....and still boasting to be not racists. Now this is really intersting....imagine if the parochial organisations in india does eventually manage to rule the masses in their favour....what would be a valentine greeting card like?TAKE A LOOK.
Atleast the tiger conservation organisations would cherish such a valentine.Afterall...no body listens to them....it would be a nice way to squeeze their way back in what should i say the mainstream agenda of youngistan....:P.One would say happy maharashtra instead of happy valentines day and the sales of rakhi would go up suddenly....more so than the festival of raksha bandhan itself. This would be a thought to ponder about. And why not invent another day...for breakups...it would be for all those who are not purists....that is who dont LOVE purely....:P.it includes thorough knowledge of the local dialect and a birth certificate accredited by the factions of the ruling party.I wonder how nobody made a breakup day....the world is not short on devdas and boozers are going high day by day.An additional reason to make this mandatory. If world is so full of love....evident by the popularity of valentines day....the world should be a bit more accomodative for breakup's too.I think this would become a powerful issue in the times to come and all the organisations for all those who dont LOVE purely would fight for this cause....:D.so after all these things which i just blurted out...i am still of the opinion that cupid struck india....and how and where....nobody is sure. For shahrukh it struck at his heart...that's why karan johar is unwell these days....[:D].He would be thinking what's the deal all about..."MY NAME IS JOHAR".that's the byzantine nature of valentine for you....and we should not forget....sage valentine sacrificed himself for the sake of love.In contemporary india....love continues to TEST all those who are standing FOR it..:P.Times for sure have changed. It is good to fall in love.....with CRICKET only...if you are an indian..because valentine is cruel for any other sport in india too.Valentine marks the BURNING DESIRE of cricket to be loved in india these days.
The picture says it all....i couldnt help but remeber this song from the evergreen kishor daa....
"PYAR BATTE CHALO,PYAR BATTE CHALO".
A very happy valentines day to all......:P....!!
